Elite Dancers

The NGAD Elite Dancers are dedicated to furthering both the artistic and personal development of all members. Becoming an Elite Dancer is an honor and a privilege. We are grateful for the enormous support of our Elite Dancer Parent Organization; affectionately known as the ED PO's.

The NGAD Elite Dancers are a performing company whose mantra is giving back to the community; we perform at many local schools and festivals as well as participating in parades, Dance Educators of America and Dance Masters of America. We also have the honor of regularly performing for the Villagers at Annandale and the Seniors at Courtyard Gardens of Lawrenceville as well as the Life Care Center of Lawrenceville. The Elite Dancers strutted their stuff at Busch Gardens in Tampa in 2001 and also at Walt Disney World in 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012.and 2015.  Our dancers have participated in the Atlanta Hawks Junior Dance Camp and were spotlighted during the halftime show and performance video. The Elite Dancers perform annually at "DanceAthens" and are the only dance company to perform at the Babyland Appalachian Christmas kickoff at Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, GA. Our motto is to give back to the community that which has been given to us. Who knows where you might see the Elite Dancers performing next!

The NGAD Production Company has won numerous Regional and National titles and competes at the Dance Educators of America Competition as well as attending the Southern Council of Dance Masters convention. NGAD is proud to have several prior DMA "Miss Dance" title holders. Our dancers continue to excel in high school dance programs and theatrical performing arts.

The Elite Dancers are chosen by audition in May.  These girls practice for special performances and competitions throughout the year. Elite Dancers travel to enhance their dance training by attending seminars with various dance educators.  Although we encourage strong technical skills, the focus of the Elite Dancers is to bring their love of dance to as many organizations and people as possible rather than the pursuit of awards at competitions.  We believe that dance is a gift and the number of trophies we receive is not as important as the people we touch during our performances .
