Dress Code

Time With Tots:

There are no set dress requirements for this class. Parents should dress their children in comfortable clothes that allow the child to move freely.

Tumble Bunnies:

Any color leotard with pink, tan, or black tights. Hair should be either in pigtails or a low ponytail (no barrettes). Shoes are black acrobatic shoes with a rubber sole.

Pre-School Ballet:

Theatrical pink leotard and tights, pink ballet shoes. Pink ballet skirts optional. Hair either in a ponytail or classical ballet bun.

Kinder Combo, Elementary Combo, Intermediate Combo & Ballet:

All Combo & ballet students are required to wear theatrical pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Tap shoes are to be tan buckle and jazz shoes are black jazz boots; unless specified by the instructor at registration. NGAD has "A & M's Dance Closet" which has all of your dance wear needs.

• Elementary Combo: Burgundy/Maroon Leotard
• Intermediate Combo: Royal Blue Leotard
• All remaining Ballet students wear a Black leotard

* Ballet skirts and legwarmers are optional but must be approved by instructor.

Pointe:

Any solid ballet color leotard with theatrical pink tights and pointe shoes. Ballet skirts and legwarmers are optional. Pointe students are taken as a group to purchase pointe shoes to ensure proper fit.

Lyrical and Modern Dance:

Any solid ballet color leotard with pink or tan convertible tights. Hair should be secured off face and shoulders (i.e. ponytail or bun). Shoes are determined by the teacher.

Non Combination Jazz and Hip-Hop:

Any style of leotard with tan or black footed tights. Black Jazz boots for jazz and combo class, Dance/Boy cut shorts may be worn but must be worn over regular tights. Leg warmers and other accessories should be cleared with the instructor before being worn to class. Hair should be secured off face and shoulders (i.e. ponytail).

Non Combination Tap:

Any style of leotard with tan, black, or pink footed tights. Dance/Boy cut shorts may be worn but must be worn over regular tights. Leg warmers and other accessories should be cleared with the instructor before being worn to class. Hair should be secured off face and shoulders (i.e. ponytail).

Acrobatics:

Adult Tap:

Whatever you are comfortable in - leotard and jazz pants, T-Shirt and bike shorts or T-Shirt and sweat pants. Black tap shoes; either flats or heels are acceptable.
