All students are placed in class by NGAD staff according to dancer's age and ability. If the students ability is above age level, he/she will be placed accordingly.

NGAD follows the same age guidelines as public school. We recognize the child's age as of September 1st of the current school year. Students DO NOT move up on their birthdays.

Several classes require the student to take an additional class. This is to ensure that your child is receiving proper technical instruction. NGAD strives to give the best instruction available. This includes making sure that each of our dancers is learning the technical aspect of dance. This also aids in injury protection.

Students are encouraged to study more than one form of dance. Experience has proven that students taking two or more forms of dance progress at a much greater pace and maintain their interest longer.
